Pricing will depend largely on the size of the property and the detail that is requested. Average designs for a full landscape plan will range from $300-$700 with the price being quoted before the design process begins so that you know how much to expect to spend once the plan is complete. There are also lower priced options for plant recommendations or partial plans so call to book a consultation and receive an estimate specific to your project.

Each design includes:

  • Site analysis: Consultation with the homeowners reviewing their needs and wishes for the space. Includes any necessary measuring and photographing of the yard.
  • 2 dimensional CAD drawing: A scaled, colour drawing including dimensions and easy to define plant symbols.
  • Plant Legend: Quantities along with common and botanical names of allplants recommended.
  • Project materials list: Details of the area for all materials needed ie. Turf, patio, deck etc.
  • Disc with 3 dimensional images: 3D renderings from different angles and times of day (if requested) are burned to a disc to aid in the visualization of your plan.
  • Design summary: This has explanations of the design elements used in the plan as well as practical recommendations for installation of your project.
  • Contact list: A list of landscapers that I personally recommend who are familiar with Thrive's designs and can work with me directly if needed to save you time and effort implementing the design.
  • A follow up: This is to see if any further assistance might be needed during installation and answer any questions.

Additional Services

  • On site consulting: This would apply to clients who have received a design package and would like Thrive to assist in communicating with the landscapers or contractors. This can be helpful if you can't be there to meet with contractors during the day or don't have the answers to their questions. This can also apply to the do it yourself clients who would like some specific direction come time for installation of plants and overall layout of the yard.
